Product Quality Monitoring Systems
A product test reveals a product’s performance at a single point in time, but products are continuously flowing from suppliers to factories to warehouses to retailers.
Decision Analyst designs and implements on-package or on-product quality-monitoring systems, so that companies can quickly determine lapses in product quality and the manufacturing plants or suppliers responsible. Any consumer packaged good (CPG) product can be audited and monitored through a sophisticated online consumer feedback system. Combined with formal product testing, monitoring systems can help a brand achieve dominant product superiority.
How Product Quality Monitoring Works
Each CPG product would include a label containing an invitation, along with a product code. Consumers would log in to our secure web server and enter the product code (password) and rate the product. In addition to overall rating and purchase questions, the survey would include open-ended questions for likes and dislikes.
The system can be designed to monitor individual products down to the batch level at each factory, so that any deviation in quality rating could be quickly traced back to the manufacturing plant, production date, etc. Clients are provided online access to quality reports via a secure, private reporting portal.
