Condé Nast debuts new performance measurement framework

    Decision Analyst was commissioned by Condé Nast to help define Share of Culture, a revolutionary performance-measurement framework.

    Gone are the days of media brands prioritizing a single metric (such as engagement) in response to the dwindling-attention economy. This leading-edge framework represents a new, holistic set of metrics that effectively gauge brand preferences among emerging consumers.
 

An online survey of 3,257 U.S. respondents was conducted to understand brand relevance within this new framework, digging into five key metrics:

  • Trust
  • Content quality
  • Leadership
  • Influence
  • Engagement
 

Ratings were gathered for the following:

  • 16 Condé Nast brands
  • 43 Competitive media brands
  • 6 Social media platform brands
 

Using this new framework, Condé Nast launched a new shoppable ecommerce accelerator via an exclusive pilot program for select advertisers. This program is designed to harness the value of Condé Nast editorial content paired with multi-platform performance media distribution to accelerate business outcomes.
